3DGS Viewer (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a fully offline 3D Gaussian Splatting viewer for iOS and Android. We designed it to run entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.
The app does not require an account and has no sign-in. We do not collect:
3D model files (.ply, .splat, .spz, .sog) that you open are read directly from your device storage or the file provider you choose in the system file picker. Files are processed locally in memory to render them on screen. They are never uploaded to us or to any server. Photos and videos you capture inside the app are saved directly to your own device (Photos library or a folder you pick).
The app operates without an internet connection. It makes no background network calls, has no cloud sync, uses no cookies, and embeds no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
These permissions are used solely on-device to provide the app’s core function. No data gathered through them leaves your device.
The app is free. An optional one-time “Pro” purchase unlocks advanced tools. Purchases and “Restore Purchases” are handled entirely by Apple’s App Store (and Google Play on Android). We never see or store your payment details. Please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy for how the store processes transactions.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because the app collects no data, changes will typically only clarify wording.
